Our children & youth ministries are designed to help participants experience a sense of belonging and love, as well as a desire to help build a world rooted in the kind of dignity, compassion and justice at the heart of Christ’s love.

  • A new Children’s Church option for 3rd-5th graders begins Sept. 10th!

Nursery & Pre-K

Children’s Church with Pastor Sarah meets every Sunday during our 10:00 a.m. worship service. Here are the details you need to know:

  • Age: Children’s Church is for children pre-K thru 2nd grade*
  • Time: Children’s Church begins after the Children’s Message in the main worship service in the sanctuary (this takes place toward the beginning of the service). Children ages pre-K thru 2nd grade who would like to attend can go with Pastor Sarah after she gives the Children’s Message during the main service. Children who would like to remain in the sanctuary are welcome to do so.
  • Location: Children’s Church meets in Room 16 [map]

Our youth group gathers weekly to create a safe space for teens in Springfield to:

  • Connect with one another.

  • Engage in critical conversations about faith, social justice, and relevant issues.

  • Have an opportunity to volunteer and make a positive impact on our community.

  • Advocate for systemic change in our city and state.

  • Channel their creativity and artistic abilities into group projects.

Friday Fun Nights

  • Last Friday of each month

Wednesday Kids Clubs

  • 3-year-olds thru 5th grade
  • First Wednesdays of each month, 6-7:30 p.m. (nursery provided as well for younger children)

The mission of Megan’s Rainbow is to provide a safe space for LGBTQ teens to interact with peers, share coping skills, and enhance their understanding of self and others. Our goal is to foster resiliency and healthy choices within the individual while promoting unity within our community.

This is a free group that meets at Brentwood Christian Church for teens 14-17 years-old. Participants must have parent/guardian permission.
