| Afghan Family Update |
| Some good news: The Afghan refugee family adopted by Brentwood is getting ready to move into their permanent housing! (Yay!!) Some urgent news: We need your help getting their yard safe and ready for next week’s move. (It needs cleared of lots of debris including nails, glass and old boards.) Because rain is in the forecast for much of next week we are putting together a volunteer work crew to meet at their new house at 1402 N. Broadway tomorrow afternoon (March 20) after church. Text or call Becky M. if you can volunteer, or if you have questions (417-496-8106). Here are some recommended items to bring with you: Work gloves, boots, rakes, wheelbarrows, shovels, etc. Thanks in advance! |
